I-CEDAR Program Overview
The I-CEDAR program is not just any program—it's a transformative journey that empowers Indigenous Artists, Carvers, Creators, Performers, Storytellers, and Entrepreneurs in the tourism and hospitality sector. And guess what? It's fully funded for 14 weeks!
I-CEDAR isn't your average entrepreneurship development program. It goes beyond teaching cutting-edge business concepts by honoring traditional values and providing one-to-one mentorships and hands-on training. It's a holistic approach that helps participants build or restructure their businesses, paving the way for success in the emerging domestic Indigenous tourism sector and driving economic growth for our communities.
But that's not all. When you complete the I-CEDAR program, you don't just walk away with newfound knowledge and skills. Nope. You'll have a fully developed business plan that sets you up for success. And to top it off, you'll receive a certification from the renowned Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria.

The I-CEDAR program will consist of 12 cohorts (25 participants each) from 2022 to 2025. The program will have a September and a January registration.
